Publicatie in New Dutch Photography Talent

'New' is an initiative of the people behind GUP Magazine. New is a book, a catalogue, a style-guide annually featuring 100 emerging photographers from or working in the Netherlands. New is a platform bringing Dutch based photography talents to the attention of galleries, museums, commercial and photography agencies, media companies and institutions that work with imagery.
But New is more! As a 420 page print-publication, it is the up-to-date style Bible for art directors, curators, collectors, photography lovers and fellow photographers. With a print run of 2.500 copies, New makes sure the best emerging photographers of the Netherlands will get the attention and audience they deserve.
New Dutch Photography Talent 2013 has been an amazing success. With over 300 entries, selling worldwide from Paris to New York and from Peru to Japan. Besides the positive reception of New, by both photographers and media, the book also inspired photography lovers around the globe buying it in big numbers. For many participating photographers New became a game-changer; getting signed by agents, bought by art-buyers, hired by media companies or exhibited in museums and galleries, etcetera.
All upcoming photographers based in The Netherlands (either graduated in 2010 or later, or working as an autodidact photographer for 3 years or fewer) are welcome to send in work for consideration. However, since we curate each edition of New, not everybody will be invited for publication in New. To submit your work, please send your low resolution portfolio, or a link to your website, to new@gupmagazine.com.
GUP’s editorial office will supervise all the work contributed, and will personally select work from the best 100 photographers to be featured in the New Dutch Photography Talent 2014 book.
If you are amongst the selected 100 photographers to be featured as a New Dutch Photography Talent, we will grant to you 4 pages (2 spreads) in the 2014 New book. However, publishing a book isn’t free -- we therefore ask you to contribute to the costs of publishing the book. The rate for all included participants is 290 euro (ex. VAT). With this contribution, you will also receive 5 free copies of the New book (total retail value: 125 euro), that you’re free to keep, give to friends or family, or even offer to potential clients or agencies. In addition, the fee you pay enables us to mail the book (500 copies in total) to our network of key stakeholders working in the field of photography, as well as promotion through all GUP platforms (websites, social media and events).
